Learning how strong a solid VBL is can be a hard concept to grasp so I was challenged with Taking two prominent VBL's and making them represent primitive 3D shapes over the course of a week.
Tools Used: Adobe Sketchbook
I chose Xbox as my first visual branding language and there needed to be exploration done to understand Xbox's approach and what makes it strong despite how simple or bland it may seem

Thumbnail iterations were then done to explore how this VBL can be transferred onto primitive shapes

Thumbnails for VBL exploration within two-dimensional shapes
These 2D thumbnails were turned into 3D shapes that express the same VBL as Xbox's products

I chose Nintendo as my second visual branding language and there needed to be exploration done to understand Nintendo's approach and what makes it strong with its wide array of colors and theme that were condensed down to a singular project to help grasp a smaller sample rather than the entire population

Thumbnail iterations were then done to explore how this VBL can be transferred onto primitive shapes
